"This airframe was delivered to the U.S. Army, San Antonio Texas in Dec. 1948, Photographed in Seoul, Korea, K-16 on 4-April-1954. It was sent to the 6408th Maintenance Group, Kisarazu A.B., Japan on Oct. - 1954 for shipment to McClellan A.F.B., Ca Dec.-1954, It then went to the U.S. Army Senceca Ordnance Aero Club, Nov.-1957, and went to serve with the New York Civil Air Patrol in April 1963, until retirement from service in Feb. 1970. It was acquired from the Cleveland Aviation High School and is awaiting restoration." Bruce Balough
