Delivered to USAF, Port of New York City, NY for PROJ-AFF-9.

Assigned to U.S. Army.
24 Jan 1949 Accepted by U.S. Army Air Forces
Jan 1949 - Jun 1956 U.S. Army Air Forces service unknown, but appears to have been assigned to Germany.
Jun 1956 Transferred to USAF for maintenance at the Schweitzer Aircraft Company, Elmira, NY. Transferred to the Middletown Air Depot, Olmstead AFB, PA for storage.

18 Dec 1958

Transferred to the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) and struck from USAF inventory.  48-1007 was civil registered as N7734C and served with the CAP in the Presidio of San Francisco (CA), Ellensburg (WA) and finally Yakima (WA).
Jun 1967 N7734C purchased by Bruce Haskin
Nov 1970 Re-registered N77BH.

Purchased by Bill Lattimer, the current owner and undergoing "flying restoration".
